On overcast days I use Google Street View to “visit” various places and take screenshots. My approach is similar to physically shooting—-I follow the light and seek an interesting composition. Google Street View has strict limitations on angle, perspective, and closeness to the subject. Conventional photography means walking in the physical world to find the best shot. Google Street View means moving through a pixilated world and looking for a picture that’s already been taken.
All shots were slightly modified with the photo software bundled with an Apple computer.
